Margie Beaton (Designer)

A recent graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College Marconi Campus Diploma Program for Graphic Design, Margie achieved top honours, capturing the Student Excellence Award both years of the program (2009, 2010). Margie is also a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

A native of Mabou, Margie is well known for her musical talent. Part of the music scene for the past 20 years, Margie and her sister Dawn Beaton won the 2010 ECMA for Roots/Traditional Group or Duo. Her dedication to traditional music, along with her professionalism, creativity and vigor on-stage, translates into a highly creative and enthusiastic member of the design studio.

Margie has a passion for supporting local business and believes in the merits of "promoting our own". In her design work, she believes in quality of service and going the extra mile. Her client work to date has included Pharmasave Cape Breton, First Strike Security, Port Days 2010 and SS Tech Cape Breton.
